Starting out with deep learning is still too complicated / costly. Great that fastAI offers such a good course and google recently started to give GPU power away for free to make starting out with deep learning more accessible.
If you want to get started with deep learning the courses of http://course.fast.ai/lessons/lessons.html are one of the best available.
There is a nice blog post https://towardsdatascience.com/fast-ai-lesson-1-on-google-colab-free-gpu-d2af89f53604 which outlines manual steps to get started.
To make it even easier I share my fastai1 lesson1 which is already made compatible with google colab service. Simply enable the GPU & get started. https://colab.research.google.com/drive/1GxA1pOucYxzEtFARkNghe1VuiDIC9HM3
