Here a summary of the points I liked most:

Cloudera presented their new EdgetoAI data platform which apparently should be completely open source including pror proprietary Cloudera products.

I relly liked the presentation of theta-sketches. It was presented that the set intersection of sketches with different granularity is still an rather open research problem.

A lot of talks were about implementing GDPR using the combination of Atlas and Ranger. Svenska Spel presented their cobra-policytool which integrates the creation of tags into the software development lifecycle process.
