Software in research is way more than simply a better calculator to simulate increasingly complex calcualtions. More and more people are realizing this and forming an research software engieneering institution to support scientists with high quality code https://researchsoftware.org/ to achieve better and more ground-breaking research outcomes.
To improve the IT knowledge at the Complexity Science Hub I have created our #skillup session. So far we have talked about the basics of reproducible research or various database systems.
